MWM gas gensets are currently one of the most reliable in the field of distributed power generation. The MWM product portfolio comprises gas engines and gensets in output range from 400 kWel to 4,500 kWel using various types of gas, such as natural gas, associated petroleum gas, propane gas, mine gas, biogas, landfill gas, sewage gas, etc.
The advantage of MWM technology lies in the significantly higher utilization of the primary energy over the traditional power generation technologies: due to simultaneous electrical and thermal power generation, overall efficiency can reach 95%. They are designed for high operational reliability and availability, as well as low operating and service costs.

MWM—whose headquarters and production facilities are located in Mannheim, Germany—has been active in Eastern Europe and Central Asia for more than 20 years. In this region MWM is represented by the subsidiary MWM Austria GmbH (located in Austria) with the support of the Branch of MWM Austria GmbH located in Almaty. Over 1,200 delivered gas engines with a total electrical output of more than 2 GW have been delivered to customers in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
