FROM RESOURCE UTILIZATION TO DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION: ATYRAU OIL & GAS 2026 UNITES TECHNOLOGIES, INVESTMENTS, AND STRATEGIC DIALOGUE IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

FROM APRIL 8 TO 10, 2026, THE 23RD NORTH CASPIAN REGIONAL EXHIBITION ATYRAU OIL & GAS 2026 WILL BE HELD IN THE OIL CAPITAL OF KAZAKHSTAN, THE CITY OF ATYRAU.

Over the years, the project has established itself as one of the key professional platforms in the Caspian region, bringing together representatives of the extraction sector, service companies, equipment manufacturers, and industry experts for open dialogue, technology exchange, and building long-term partnerships.

In 2026, 85 companies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Russia, and the USA will participate in the exhibition. The international geography of participants underscores the sustained interest in the North Caspian market and confirms Atyrau's strategic role as a hub for oil and gas investments and technological solutions. The exhibition will cover a wide range of areas — from oil and gas exploration and production to oil and gas equipment, oilfield services, automation and instrumentation, as well as personal and industrial protection equipment. Thus, the exhibition reflects the entire production chain of the industry — from resource utilization to ensuring industrial safety and process digitalization.

The participation of new exhibitors deserves special attention, including ALTEZZA, CASPIAN GEO, TERRANOVA KAZAKHSTAN, CDC GROTH, LISEGA, AS-SCHNEIDER, Q-FCM, 'Techmotive-TM', 'TD ELECTROCENTER', Zetkama, Engineering Company West Oil, BEIERTON, 'BashPromEngineering', 'Kainar AKB', 'VOLT-SPB', 'Ust-Kamenogorsk Capacitor Plant', AGV, and others.

Among the participants in 2026 are both international brands and leading domestic manufacturers actively developing localization and implementing modern standards. For instance, SLB will present local production of high-tech shut-off valves and drive systems that meet the strictest global standards of ASME and API. The exhibition will also feature a technological premiere — the demonstration of advanced diagnostic and maintenance methods aimed at improving the life cycle efficiency of valve systems and achieving operational excellence. LLP 'TEMPO – KAZAKHSTAN' will demonstrate the full cycle of steel pipe production. The launch of new production capacities allows the company to ensure stable product quality and fulfill orders of any volume, while the presence of covered warehouse complexes guarantees product safety and prompt shipment. The entire range is manufactured in accordance with modern technologies and international requirements, making it in demand among construction companies, oil and gas operators, and metal construction enterprises.

In addition to the exhibition, participants and visitors can expect a rich business program. On the first day, April 8, a Plenary Session 'Caspian Region: Development of the Oil and Gas Industry and Industrial Infrastructure' will be held. The session will focus on the strategic priorities for the development of the North Caspian oil and gas sector, operators' investment programs, modernization of production assets and infrastructure, as well as issues of localization and expanding the participation of Kazakhstani companies in large projects. Representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, industry associations, and national companies, including JSC 'NC 'KazMunayGas', will participate in the discussion.

In the afternoon, a Panel Session 'Digital Transformation of the Oil and Gas Industry: Strategy, Technologies, and Economic Impact' will take place. Participants will discuss state policy in the field of digitalization of the fuel and energy complex, the implementation of artificial intelligence, digital twins and automation, the transition from pilot solutions to large-scale asset transformation, as well as the economic impact and issues of cyber resilience.

The key event of the second day, April 9, will be the Strategic Session 'The Role of Special Economic and Industrial Zones in the Development of the Petrochemical Cluster and Related Sectors'. The discussion will focus on the role of SEZs as a tool for industrialization and attracting investments, the competitiveness of investment preferences, the infrastructural readiness of sites, localization of production, and measures of state support. Special attention will be paid to the international experience of developing industrial zones and the opportunities for integrating Kazakhstani projects into global supply chains.

The final day, April 10, will be held in the format of working meetings and B2B negotiations aimed at consolidating agreements and developing new partnerships.

Atyrau Oil & Gas 2026 will not only be a platform for presenting technologies and equipment but also a space for strategic dialogue, exchanging practical experience, and forming joint solutions in the context of global transformations in the energy market. In 2026, the organizers expect to maintain active business dynamics, expand partnership ties, and conclude new contracts that contribute to the further development of the North Caspian region's oil and gas industry.

Atyrau Oil & Gas is traditionally held with the official support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Atyrau Region, JSC 'NC 'KazMunayGas', ALE 'KAZENERGY', the Union of Service Companies of Kazakhstan 'KazService', PETROCOUNCIL, as well as the Kazakhstan Society of Petroleum Geologists.
