Astel signs agreement with NC Production Operations Company to provide technical support for telecommunications systems at their facilities

On 1 July 2014, Astel signed an agreement with NC Production Operations Company to provide technical support for the telecommunications systems at their facilities until 2017.

Astel is responsible for providing technical support and services for telecommunications systems, data devices, hands free devices, video surveillance systems, access control systems, fibre optic communication lines, and other systems for both land and sea facilities within the North Caspian project. This is the first time the Kazakhstan telecommunications company has been a main contractor in such a significant project.

Astel will present the PSK quick deployment mobile satellite communication complex and the new SkyEdge satellite service for Internet access and data transmission at the Atyrau Oil and Gas exhibition from 14 – 16 April in Atyrau.
