SAVE THE CASPIAN SEA GLOBAL MOVEMENT

The Save the Caspian Sea global movement is an initiative aimed at addressing environmental issues threatening the Caspian Sea, one of the most unique and vulnerable ecosystems in the world. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the devastating impact of climate change, industrial pollution and ineffective water management, and to achieve greater transparency and responsibility from polluters.

Goals

● To mobilize global support. Focus international attention on preserving the sea’s unique biodiversity and securing its future.

● To hold corporations accountable. Hold companies accountable for pollution and habitat destruction.

● To promote sustainable policies. Promote practices that prioritize the health of the Caspian Sea and the well-being of the communities that support it.

● Awareness campaign. Raise awareness of urgent environmental issues facing the Caspian Sea, including falling water levels, pollution, and threats from oil production.

Our strategy

 Save the Caspian Sea campaign uses a multifaceted approach to raise awareness and create real change. We are launching a global media campaign aimed at raising public awareness of the impacts of oil production in the Caspian Sea and the need for improved resource management. The campaign uses visual materials, interviews with environmental experts and the publication of detailed reports on pollution, biodiversity loss and falling water levels.

Through partnerships with leading environmental organizations such as the Social and Environmental Foundation, Crude Accountability, EITI and Globus, we build international pressure on oil companies and governments to adopt sustainable practices and ensure public access to environmental information.
