Fiberglass pump rod (FPR) is manufactured according to TU 366502320994511 and certified for compliance with GOST Р 511612002. Pilot tests (PT) with usage of FPR at five wells of Udmurtneft, JSC were successfully finished. There were no downtimes because of FPR failures registered during the period of conduction of pilot tests, although FPR were installed in wells with highly corrosive environment. Even provided with combined (≈50/50 PR/FPR) arrangement of sucker rod strings PT analysis demonstrated the following:

• Load on balance beam was reduced in average to 500-1300 kg;
• Power costs were reduced in average by 8-10%;
• Rate of failures caused by sucker rod string was reduced;
• FPR implementation payback period was less than 1 year;
• Adherence of asphalt, resin and paraffin deposits significantly reduced.

In 2012, UK Promtehcomplect, LLC supplied fiberglass rods for implementation at 20 wells of Udmurtneft, JSC and NK Rosneft, all equipment is in operation. Period of payback for implementation of the products is less than 11 months.
