MAXWELL PROJECTS – INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AND INSTRUMENTATION (I&C)

Maxwell Projects LLP delivers modern solutions in industrial automation and instrumentation (I&C) for the oil & gas, energy, and industrial sectors.
In partnership with Hollysys (35,000+ customers, 45,000+ projects worldwide), the company implements turnkey projects, including:
• Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
• Digitalization and intelligent production management solutions

At the exhibition, the following will be showcased:
DCS MACS-K Demo Boxes
The document highlights the integration of the safety system with the HOLLIAS MACS DCS. Key features of this series (based on SIS integration):
• Unified environment: a common software platform for configuring and managing both the Basic Process Control System (BPCS) and the Safety Instrumented System (SIS)
• Interface: a single engineering and operator interface
• Synchronization: automatic time synchronization and event collection between DCS and SIS

HiGuard SIS Demo Cabinet
The HiGuard system is a highly reliable SIL 3 solution:
• Architecture: TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) architecture with physically separated processors
• I/O modules: each module features triple independent circuits
• Capacity: supports up to 15 domains, up to 64 controllers per domain, with a total capacity of up to 1.8 million I/O channels
• Certification: TÜV Rheinland certified in compliance with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards
Joint Demonstration of DCS + SIS (ICSS)
The Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) offers the following advantages:
• Seamless integration: direct data exchange between DCS and SIS without the need for logical mapping or handshaking
• Functional separation: despite integration, control and safety functions remain separated in accordance with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 requirements
• Diagnostics: continuous diagnostics of sensors and logic solvers in both systems
• Efficiency: reduced operational and maintenance costs through hardware and software standardization
Application areas: oil & gas, metallurgy, chemicals, power generation, construction materials, building management, food and pharmaceutical industries, renewable energy.
Maxwell Projects’ mission: reliability, safety, and efficiency of industrial processes.
