The «Ecosphere» activities are aimed at improving the ecological environment in the ash dumps area, providing storage of combustion products formed during the operation of power plants, as well as the concomitant involvement in economic circulation recovered aluminosilicate microspheres.

Extracting aluminum silicate microspheres company «Ecosphere» is carried out in two ways:

• with water on the ash dump of Novosibirsk Power Plant-5;
• directly from the Power Plant-5 furnace by removing volatile impurities from the ash slurry using a unique special equipment.

The main fuel for the Novosibirsk Power Plant-5 are Kuznetsk coal, branded G and D.

Our manufacturing facilities are located in the area of more than 3 thousand square meters and include:

• storage for raw materials;
• manufacturing facility for microspheres production;
• zone of finished products, packaged in hermetically sealed containers (big bags) of 500 kg, ready to send to potential customers.

The company operates a multi-level production control system, starting from raw materials analysis, and to control the quality of products in each package, shipped to the consumer.

The samples are tested in a special laboratory for moisture, sediment, alkalinity, acidity, corresponding to the desired fraction. All of this allows us to provide the highest quality of our products.

Delivery of the finished goods is carried out by trucks, railway road and the other kind of transport.
Annual production volume more than 7.000 tonns.

Alumosilicate microspheres are alumosilicate glass ceramic beads that are formed during high-temperature flaring coal. They are hollow, nearly perfect form silicate beads with a smooth surface and diameter of 5 to 500 microns.

The set of unique microspheres properties such as low density, small size, spherical shape, high hardness and melting temperature, chemical inertness cause a wide range of applications of the microspheres in the modern industry.

The main microspheres consumers are enterprises of the oil and gas industry. In the oil and gas industry alumosilicate microspheres are used as an additive to lightweight cementing materials and for drilling wells. The technology of using microspheres for lightweight cementing materials have been known in the world, but before its widespread use was limited to the high price of synthetic glass microspheres. Aluminosilicate microspheres are a byproduct formed during the burning of coal, and the price is several times lower than synthetic analogues.

The benefits of using lightweight cement slurries with microspheres:

Low density. The ability to reduce the share of cement mortar to 1,25-1,3 g/cm3 (for traditional lightweight gel-cement slurry 1,52-1,54 g/cm3), and as a consequence: reduced repression in the formation producing, reduction of filtrate invasion into productive formation zone, providing a predetermined height of the cement.

Easy to mix. Lightweight plugging can be prepared directly by drilling, mixing microspheres with cement in a dry form. This may be any conventional blender.

Low shrinkage solution. The improved communication with the reservoir of the well casing, accordingly.

Economy. Reduce costs by eliminating the two-stage cementing technology and reduce the time for well.
