Richard Hove was appointed the Managing Director of the North Caspian Operating Company by the decision of the shareholders of the North Caspian project. He replaces Bruno Jardin, who served as the NCOC's Managing Director since December 2015. This was reported by the press service of the company on Monday.

"I am ready to accept this challenge and multiply the results of the organisation achieved under the leadership of Mr. Jardin. During this time, Jardin put the safety of employees as the main priority, and I share this goal. Under his leadership, NCOC made the transition from the construction phase to the operation phase with the achievement of the current level of production of 340 thousand barrels of oil per day and ensuring a high degree of operational reliability. My task is to further increase reliability, ensure safety wise and successful maintenance and overhaul of the upcoming spring, identifying new opportunities for further development of the project, ensuring recognition of the NCOC’s activities as a source of pride for the republic and our shareholders,” R. Howe said in the message.

During the last 18 months R. Hove worked as a director of industrial operations at NCOC. NCOC is the operator of the North Caspian offshore oil and gas project in Kazakhstan, under which the Kashagan field is being developed.
