ATYRAU OIL&GAS AND ATYRAUBUILD EXHIBITIONS BEGAN THEIR WORK IN THE OIL CAPITAL OF KAZAKHSTAN.
TODAY, APRIL 3, THE 21ST NORTH CASPIAN REGIONAL ATYRAU OIL&GAS EXHIBITION BEGAN ITS WORK IN ATYRAU. AT THE SAME TIME, THE NORTH CASPIAN REGIONAL ATYRAUBUILD CONSTRUCTION AND INTERIOR EXHIBITION IS ALSO TAKING PLACE ON THESE DATES.
The exhibition opened with an official tour of the exposition by honored guests represented by regional leaders and representatives of large oil and gas companies. The stands of the exhibitors were visited by Deputy Akim of Atyrau region Zhasulan Bisembiev, Deputy General Director of «Tengizchevroil» Konilkosh Suesinov, Deputy General Director of «Caspian Pipeline Consortium» JSC Kairgeldy Kabyldin, Managing Director of NCOC Giancarlo Ruyu.
According to Zhassulan Bisembiyev, the Deputy Akim of the Atyrau region, it is encouraging that every year the number of exhibition participants is growing, and the geography of participating countries is expanding.“The Atyrau Oil&Gas exhibition is being held for the twenty-first time. By tradition, all major oil and gas companies from different countries gather in our city, present their production, talk about their activities and gain new business connections. This site has proven its effectiveness. Every time its participants find business partners, new contracts are concluded, and new jobs are created. We hope that every year the number of participants will grow and the industry will receive a new impetus in its development”, said Zhassulan Bisembiyev, the Deputy Akim of the Atyrau region.
For many years, the exhibition site has been the main communication platform for government representatives and major market players, a place for searching for new partnership projects in the field of oil and gas extraction, in the production of oil and gas equipment and infrastructure development.
At the Atyrau Oil&Gas exposition, large oil and gas extraction companies, oil and gas exploration and production companies, oil service companies, manufacturers of oil and gas equipment, personal and industrial protective equipment, automation and instrumentation presented their stands.
Participants in 2024 included 102 companies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey, and Finland. As part of the exhibition, the Export Support Center of the Perm region and the Development Corporation of the Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation will present collective exhibitions
The significance of the exhibition is also confirmed by the annual growth of debuting companies. This year, more than 30 companies presented their stands for the first time, accounting for 40% of the total number of participants.
Baku Shipyard LLC is participating in the Atyrau Oil&Gas exhibition for the first time. The company has been building cargo, passenger ships and tankers for 26 years. The company intends to find partners in Kazakhstan.
“We represent the Baku Shipyard. We are taking part in this exhibition for the first time, and we hope to partner with our neighboring countries. Due to changes in the geopolitical situation, we see a reason to participate in this exhibition, since there is a demand for the transportation of goods by water transport. We would like to provide shipbuilding services for our neighbors. We already have experience of cooperation with Kazakhstan; we have built three vessels for a local company. We hope to expand our business thanks to this exhibition”, said Fuad Madatov, the Manager of the Project Management Department of Baku Shipyard LLC.
Among the annual participants are such large companies as Tengizchevroil, Caspian Pipeline Consortium, Embamunaigas, Aksa Jenaratör A.Ş., Borkit Safety, LinkMaster Kazakhstan, YUMAS Research and Production Association.
Visitors to the exhibition appreciated the high level of organization and the geographic scale of the participating companies. To establish business connections, many guests came from other cities and even countries.
“I came to the exhibition from St. Petersburg. Our company has been producing and supplying insulating materials for 20 years. We plan to expand our company and open representative offices in Kazakhstan. We have already opened one branch in Temirtau city. It is possible to expand in western Kazakhstan, if our partners support us, we will try to open production in Atyrau. Kazakhstan is an attractive platform for us; it is very interesting to work here. The oil and gas industry is one of our areas that may be interesting”, said Dmitriy Goncharov, the Deputy General Director of Korda company, St. Petersburg.
Traditionally, as part of the business program of the exhibition, companies cover the most pressing issues in the industry: they present technological novelties, key operators voice important issues regarding working with potential contractors and procurement plans.
The content part of the exhibition consisted of training seminars from companies such as Tengizchevroil, EnergoInnovatsiya Association of Innovative Enterprises in the Energy Sector, AKSA and others.
It is worth noting that Atyrau Oil&Gas is a regional event in the industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event is the only one and has no analogues in the Atyrau region, in a region that is key and strategically important in the oil and gas industry and the country’s economy as a whole. This is confirmed by the results of the first day: the exhibition was visited by 1,093 industry specialists, and more than 25 b2b meetings were also held.
