ITE Group appointed for 2016 World Energy Congress in Istanbul
ITE Group plc has been appointed as the sales and marketing partner for the 2016 edition of the triennial World Energy Congress to be held in Istanbul from 9th to 13th October 2016.
Having already assisted with the 2013 World Energy Congress in Daegu, South Korea, ITE’s Energy, Oil & Gas division will support the National Organising Committee attract sponsors, delegates and exhibitors to the 2016 Congress. Each year ITE organises an oil and gas conference in Turkey and has a long track-record of acting as a professional congress organiser for the global gatherings of other major international organisations.
The Head of the World Energy Congress 2016 National Organising Committee, Dr Hasan Murat Mercan said: “The 2016 World Energy Congress will be a monumental event for the global energy community, particularly following on from the COP21 agreement, world energy leaders will have a platform to collectively shape the future of energy market. To date we already have 127 high speakers from 54 countries confirmed and we expect 10,000 delegates to attend, providing excellent sponsorship and networking opportunities for the industry.

Focussed on the theme of “Embracing New Frontiers”, the World Energy Congress will take place in the Istanbul Conference Centre and Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar Congress and Exhibition Centre, boasting a total of 15,000m2 space.
