The business platform of atyrau oil&gas 2019 and atyraubuild 2019 exhibitions opens new opportunities for companies and investors
Today, Atyrau hosts two significant events for the region and the oil and gas industry: The 18th North-Caspian Regional Atyrau Oil&Gas Exhibition and the 18th North-Caspian Regional Building & Interiors Exhibition AtyrauBuild 2019.
The Atyrau Oil&Gas 2019 and AtyrauBuild 2019 Exhibitions are being held for 18 consecutive years. It proves that such kind of exhibitions is the imperatives of our era and the need. Each time, the number and geography of participants are growing. I am confident that companies at the exhibition will find new partners and customers. On its behalf, the government creates all conditions for a favorable investment environment and development of these sectors of the economy", - said Nurlan Nogayev, Akim of Atyrau region during the opening ceremony of these two events.
Today, over 100 companies from 20 world countries present at the exhibition, including companies from Azerbaijan, Austria, England, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Turkey, and Russia. It is important to note that the number of participants this year has increased by 20%. The following companies will take part in the Atyrau Oil&Gas 2019 for the first time: Transneft Diascan, Novomet perm, TEMPO, TEKSAN, Elterm, Silkway Helicopter Services, Robertson GEO.
"Within the frame of the Eurasian Economic Union, the trade, economic, investment, and regional relationships between Russia and Kazakhstan are fast growing. Thus, only the goods turnover between the regions of Russia and Atyrau region is over $100 mln. US dollars. Investment cooperation is also developing. Today, on the market of Kazakhstan, there are six thousand Russian and Kazakhstan joint ventures. It means that Kazakhstan has a favorable investment climate", - said Alexandr Yakovlev, a trade representative of Russia in Kazakhstan.
This year is the 120th anniversary from the date of the first production of Kazakhstan oil. The brightest pages of the Kazakhstan oil history are related to Atyrau region. Development of oil resources of the country started in 1899 on Karachungul field in South Emba, where the first gas and oil fountain discarded about 25 thousand tons of light oil.
Today, Kazakhstan produces over 90 mln. tones of oil and 56 bln. cubic meters of gas. Atyrau region accounts for over 60% of all oil produced in Kazakhstan. "Such exhibitions are significant for the region. Technologies, which are offered here by the participating companies, are becoming more advanced. Here you have what to learn and what to see. It is a good big platform for an interactive exchange of views. Each specialist will find a lot of new things here, and it will become a foundation for bigger achievements", said Uzakbai Karabalin, Deputy Chairman of KAZENERGY Association.
Together with Atyrau Oil&Gas 2019, the exhibition complex will be the setting for the Building&Interiors Exhibition AtyrauBuild 2019, and its participants will present construction materials and equipment, modern formwork systems, conditioning systems, paints and varnishes, road repair materials, welding equipment, safety system, transportation, and logistics services, etc.
Together with the official part of the exhibitions, the business program includes workshops focused on presentation and study of the major trends in the oil, gas, and construction industries. Digitalization and investments horizons - this is the keynote of the exhibitions business program in 2019.
During the first day of the exhibition, there were seminars by companies such as Tengizchevroil, AYACOM, Kaspersky Lab, and NCOC. On the parallel platform, there was a conference "Digitalization of the oil and gas industry and Kazakhstan content," organized by the Strategic Partnerships Development Counsel.
The exhibition will be held until April 11th, and the second day's business program will include a series of seminars on acute subjects. Particularly, on April 10th, the Atyrau Oil and Gas University invites exponents and visitors to take part in the workshop on Analysis of technologies for an increase of oil processing in production wells, and Researches of fuel compositions to create domestic technology for production of low-viscous marine fuel. The golden sponsors of the event, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, and NCOC will have several workshops on the platform of the Atyrau Oil&Gas 2019 Exhibition.
